About Crouch Chapman
Crouch Chapman is a firm of Chartered Accountants established in 1892 in the City of London. The firm has seven partners and forty staff. These are divided between audit, taxation and corporate recovery.
Our audit department service a wide variety of clients with turnovers ranging from £50,000 to over £30 million. It has developed techniques and procedures to ensure compliance with the latest audit and reporting regulations. These are combined with audit programmes tailored to meet the needs of individual clients. It is our aim to undertake audit work that enables us not only to form an audit opinion but also to provide the maximum benefit for the client. This is particularly important as clients expand and move between size categories which determine levels of disclosure and format of accounts.
Taxation advice and planning is an important part of the firm’s general practice and we have assembled a partner-led team of specialists in UK and overseas taxation matters. The tax department handles all aspects of personal, trust and corporate tax and we specialise in giving advice on complex international taxation issues when necessary. Clients receive annual budget brief and seasonal tax newsletters. We also act for executors in dealing with Probate and inheritance tax returns.
Corporate recovery is handled with our London office under the trading name of Benedict Mackenzie.
It is our belief that there must be significant partner involvement with all our clients. This ensures that we are able to give personal service and make available advice and assistance when we perceive a need. We appreciate that this need may arise at any time during the year and we seek to develop long-term relationships so that the clients are confident in approaching partners and audit managers at any time. The engagement partner would seek regular contact to help build a good working relationship and ensure that they get to know your company and the people in it.
This enables us to identify your requirements at an early stage and allow meaningful and timely advice to be given to you to maximise the potential of your business.
We believe one of the most important factors in considering your selection of a firm of accountants and auditors is the people with whom you will be working.
We are confident that the partners and staff in our team will be knowledgeable, accessible and prepared to render professional advice promptly and on a friendly basis. Details of the partners in the general practice are provided below.
